The Editor of OMEGA is a non-elected volunteer who may be either an AOUG member or a non AOUG person who has a close link with the Association.  They are appointed by the AOUG Executive Committee on an annual agreement, at the February Executive Committee meeting. The same person may be re-appointed annually if both the volunteer concerned and the Executive Committee agree to the re-appointment. However the appointed Editor may resign their appointment at any time, if they no longer feel able to continue.
 
Personal contact details of the OMEGA Editor are restricted to the Executive Committee but members may send any communications for the OMEGA Editor to the AOUG Office and the Clerical Officer will forward these on to the OMEGA Editor.
 
The content of OMEGA is chosen following the guidelines of the current OMEGA policy as agreed by the Executive Committee, but the OMEGA Editor is always interested to hear your thoughts on the style and content, to know your favourite items and the things you would like to see more of. The Editor is also pleased to receive your articles, poems and letters for possible inclusion.
