OMEGA is the triannual magazine published exclusively for AOUG members. Together with the website, and regular editions of Local Newsletters, OMEGA is the mouthpiece of our organisation. It is distributed to all current AOUG members as part of the membership package and also to senior members of The Open University and all Open University Departments.
The current Summer edition features an article on Probing galaxy evolution using the AKARI Space Telescope by Helen Davidge, winner of the 2015 AOUG Vice-Chancellor Sir John Horlock Award for Science, highlights from the AGM weekend at Buxton and an article on Understanding violence in the wake of civil wars by Craig Walker, winner of the 2015 AOUG Will Swann Award for Innovation and Knowledge Development.
The next edition will be published in December.
