Meet at the Pontypridd Museum, Bridge Street, Pontypridd, Bridgend, CF37 4PE at 12 noon, for a tour of the museum. Those who would like to take a short walk to the town centre after the museum, can also enjoy a coffee, snack or lunch. There is free parking at the weekend and free admission.
The museum depicts the history of the area and the local bridge which was the first in Europe to exceed the span of The Rialto Bridge in Italy. It highlights the importance of the industry of the town, the railway and the mining. The museum is also a short walk from the railway station.
