2019 Diary Dates

Saturday 1st June. 10am
Meet at the Friends Meeting House, Friargate, York, YO1 9RL for the ‘AOUG in Y’ AGM followed by ‘Bring-Your-Own’ lunch and a discussion about the Association AGM.

Saturday 8th June. 11am
Meet at the entrance of Wentworth Woodhouse, Wentworth, Rotherham, S62 7TQ, a grade 1 listed property believed to be the longest country house in England. Now administered by a Trust there is a fascinating history attached with the property receiving £5 million recently from the government/ Entry costs £5 (half price for National Trust members) Come and find out more. This is a Handshake event with Region 05

Saturday 13th July. 11am
Meet in the Walled Garden Cafe at Scampston Hall, Malton, YO17 8NG. Trains are available to Malton Station. Garden only tickets - £8.50 (£5.00) Hall and Gardens - £12.50 (£6.50)

Saturday 24th August 11am.
Meet at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery, Chequer Road, DN1 2AE – about one mile from the Railway Station.

Saturday 7th December.12noon
Advanced notice as the tickets are already on sale for the Christmas production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’!!!

Walking Group
The group organises walks of varying lengths and to suit varying abilities and new participants are always welcome. Please contact the Walking Group organiser and she can advise you about the length or difficulty of each walk.
